Gemma Alcock

I am an award-winning unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designer. After graduating from Design Business Management at Bournemouth University, I combined my love for search and rescue from my years as a Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) beach lifeguard with my passion and technical knowledge of designing aerial technology and founded SkyBound Innovations, with the express aim of creating research-lead and evidence-based UAV designs.
I am currently embarking upon a venture called The SkyBound Rescuer Project, which is investigating into the potential and feasibility of search and rescue UAV integration within response procedures.
I have been working closely with search and rescue professionals to build awareness of the project whilst gaining a better understanding of the end-user’s requirements. I am currently looking for investment in order to take this project to the next stage.

We specialise in the use of drones for public safety.
